Cruel Mistress
Jennifer Silva
“Cruel Mistress”, is a hypnotic, dream-pop track laced with cinematic tension and haunting melodies. Blending the sultry mystique of Lana Del Rey, the cinematic allure of Suki Waterhouse and the theatrical edge of Lady Gaga, Silva delivers an intoxicating, electronic soundscape that explores power, desire, and the sting of karma. Built with seductive guitar, pulsing rhythms, and Silva’s commanding vocals, “Cruel Mistress” tells the story of temptation and betrayal, where seduction turns sinister and indulgence comes at a price. The lyrics paint a vivid picture of passion laced with poison — a cautionary tale wrapped in velvet and fire.
“This song is about how karma always has the final word,” says Silva. “It’s dark and playful at the same time — a mix of glamour, danger, and the reminder that nothing comes without consequence.”
This track was produced and mixed by Jonny Taylor at The Beacon AV Lab, mastered by Matthew Agoglia of The Ranch Mastering and Silva was photographed by The Ginger B3ardmen - all of Beacon, NY.
“Cruel Mistress” will be available on all streaming platforms on October 10.
Runaway
Jennifer Silva
This Alt-Country-Soul and Indie-Rock album was written by Jennifer Silva and produced by Bassist Errick Lewis of XVibe Records. A distinctive blend of rock, soul, and country-Americana, this album marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Silva. Her rootsy, soulful sound paired with images of animal spirits, nature, dreams, and trademark mystical folklore takes us on a joyride searching for answers and finding signs everywhere she goes.

Runaway
Jennifer Silva
“Runaway” is the title track from Silva’s new album, telling the story of a young woman with a buffalo tattoo, stuck in life, who chooses to face her fears and follow the road less traveled. Buffalo instinctively know that they will spend less time weathering the storm if they just run through it, rather than away from it.

PURGATORY ROAD
Jennifer Silva
This album has been a long time coming. We tracked all ten songs one week before lockdown last year and then had to suddenly pause the production for too many long, quiet months. Eventually though, we got back to recording all the vocals - slowly and safely - and my days at Vinegar Hill Sound with my Producer and friend, Reed Black, were the light at the end of a very dark tunnel. Those joyous moments gave me hope during a time of great uncertainty.
These songs have taken on new meaning now. The music showcases a connection to the deep, dark places that live somewhere in us all. It welcomes the ghosts that linger in our lives and continue to haunt us. It celebrates the saint and sinner in us all. I know now, that we have all been walking down Purgatory Road, but I have also learned that we are on this journey together.
Please listen and enjoy 🖤
